This home belongs to very, very dear friends of mine. I knew that, eventually, one or the other of the couple would ask me to paint their home as a surprise for their spouse. The day finally came. A surprise 60th birthday gift from the wife to her husband. So many small details – above the windows, below the shingles and around the doorway…It took me three attempts to get the ’37’ just right.
