A good friend asked me to paint her home as a birthday gift to her husband. It was the first painting in which I was asked to include two facades. Getting the correct perspective on the many dormers, bay windows and rooftops took time and patience. Note the light on the rounded, covered porch and the intricate stonework over the doorway.
