The owner of this house asked me many years ago to paint her home as a gift for her husband, so I consider her to be one of my first customers. However, due to delays on the work being done on the front entrance, the front garden being re-designed, and a terrible fire in the home next-door this painting took longer than most to be completed (and, technically, it’s still not finished). If you look closely you’ll see a stylized “M” in the cast ironwork of the balcony…the first letter of the family’s last name.
