This 1960’s home belonged to the family of a woman with whom I’ve been swimming for 14 years. She commissioned me to paint it for her father’s upcoming 80th birthday. The finished work is a composite image of several photos. It was fun to hear some of the stories and memories associated with the home – the oyster parties in the garage, the big rock where they met and played with friends and the basement window where the kids snuck out at night…
