LISA OSTERLAND

This painting was commissioned in late October as a surprise Christmas present by a friend of mine for her husband. It was done in record time, but I am thrilled with the result. Happily, both of them were as well.

This house belongs to a family that I know through my teenage son. The mother/wife commissioned this painting as a Christmas gift for her husband. Incidentally, it was he who coined the term ‘pocket paintings’ for me. The metal sculpture of the dog in their front yard is known affectionately as “Rusty”.
